Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I buy your parts when there are cheaper options?

• Our parts fully created under (1) roof which is very important. Having full end-to-end production keeps the expertise of our staff directly in front of your part at all times for the best end result.
• Other shops will outsource parts if not all of the production to overseas manufacturing while we keep is 100% USA MADE.
• Every single item is made using an industry leading Epoxy Resin and we use ZERO Polyester Resin AT ALL. 
• Epoxy resin is a high end liquid polymer matrix that is very strong and chemically inert all solvents.  Our resin has the most available in Solids for strength for less resin per cubic inch of fiber needed. This gives us a lighter part than anybody else and stronger in the same stroke.
• We use a 3 stage Urethane Clear Coating process that is De-Ionization of substrate followed by 3 coats (9 total) of Show Grade 2K HS Urethane. 
• Many paint shops that paint automobiles don't specialize in Carbon Fiber specifically so they yield a lesser coating thickness and thusly lower gloss depth.
• Other shops will outsource stages of manufacture, if not all of the production, to overseas manufacturing while we keep is 100% USA MADE.
• Dont be fooled by "Carbon Fiber" hoods that are 1 layer of low grade Carbon Cloth bonded to a Fiberglass Black inside panel.  That is not a carbon part, that is fiberglass with a carbon top layer.
• We use 4 layers of 12k Twill Carbon for our stack out so every part is 100% AeroSpace Grade carbon fiber with no compromises.
• Once you see our work in person, you'll be a customer for life. 

How long does it take to ship my order?

• In our typical production basis most of our listings have a production timeline that is given based on usual order volume.  They are as follows for each item we offer:
• C8 Fenders: 6-7 weeks from payment date.
• C8 HTC Hatch: 8-10 weeks from payment date.
• C8 Hood: 6-7 weeks from payment date.
• C8 Trunk: 6 weeks from payment date.
• C8 Roof (set): 7-9 weeks from payment date.
• It is important to note that supply chain issues or our extremely high standard of quality can delay your item leaving. If its not to our caliber of quality to leave, we will not ship items that do not pass our strict Quality Control.  We do not care about events or rushing to deliver a part that isnt up to our high standard. 

Why is shipping Flat Rate?

• Currently with the shipping costs we flat rate the charge to ensure we can use a variety of shipping partners for the fastest and safest delivery. If we could rely on (1) shipping company we would have zone based shipping however in 2022 that is hard to achieve since it can change daily.  We do not make a dollar on shipping your parts and will refund the difference if it costs significantly less than our flat rate costs.  
• Local Colorado clients may come retrieve their parts by sending us an email for a pickup date!

Can I install this part myself?

• Typically yes, its OEM in fitment so its very do-able.  However, OEM Chevrolet C8 Parts require adjustments to level or seat all areas.  Even our C8 which had a HTC Recall done at the dealer; they struggled to align the body panels even when they where on the car the whole time.  You will find that there are shims, adjustment screws, dowels and many small details that all together align the parts from factory.  Since our parts are Factory OEM model parts, the same adjustments maybe needed. 
• Some very very minor dremeling maybe needed for the adjustment pegs to fit since they can swell which is an issue of the OEM parts being a little soft.
• All screws and bolts will transfer over easily just like factory. 
• If the body panel is missing a clip or washer, we did not forget.  You are simply going to take the one off the old OEM part and transfer it over.  Super easy!
• Professional Installation is ALWAYS RECOMMENDED.  WARRANTY CANNOT BE CLAIMED IF YOU DAMAGE THE PART WITH IMPROPER INSTALL.

What is your warranty on these parts?

• Every item has a (1) Year Warranty against any defect or poor workmanship for that duration. 
• We do not warranty *Anodized* carbon materials since they require the most care out of any carbon part.  Improper care practices will shorten the lifespan of those parts.  Classic Twill, Forged Carbon, Camo, and many others are not a worry. 
• Few shops will warranty Carbon Fiber parts but we know ours will be looking great for many years to come, so it's not a concern we have since we take the time to create the best parts available.
• This is at our discretion but we are customer focused so we are easy to work with.  If you drop the part or accept a part at delivery with a damaged box, that is not warranty claim.  But we will work with you on making it right or replacing the part!
